The Niffin bag is a simple yet sophisticated project bag made of waxed canvas, with it's many delicate stitching details and a metal zipper pocket set in the front, a cork handle at one side, and three pockets in the lining of the bag.
The recessed drawstring panel on the bag can be folded down into the bag to make it a knitting bowl, or can be used to cinch your project in with space for your knitting to bulge above the top of the bag. The drawstrings themselves have geometric wooden beads at the ends.
Inside the bag, there are three pockets set into the lining, the large pocket in the center can be snapped closed, or when left open can fit an 8.5" x 11" paper that is folded in half (or an iPad mini). The bottom of the bag is wide enough to accommodate three cakes of yarn sitting next to each other, and the height of the bag allows you to stack two cakes on top of each other for a total of 6 cakes of yarn. We have even squeezed 9 skeins of fingering weight yarn into one Niffin before, but there wasn't much room for a growing project.
